Two-Channel Version

Convection Control

The VolksMeter is available in 1 or 2-channel versions.  If ordered in the 2-channel version, two sensor arrays are mounted to the Base Plate, at a 90° angle to each other.  This arrangement can provide useful correlation information as well as measure tilt in two dimensions.

In order to minimize convective air currents within the VolksMeter case (which can disturb the moving plate in the sensor assembly and thus cause noise in the data), a block of insulating material is mounted above the Interface Board (which is the principal source of heat inside the case).
